Excellent video and commentary . I toured that area of Normandy in 2017 concentrating on the Canadian advance and seeing the places in those historic photos was surreal.

Seems like another world looking at these pictures. I went past where I grew up 47 yrs ago and it reminds me of these then and now photos. The gravel roads I rode my banana seat bike on are all but gone. Houses fill what were once pastures. More people less land. The world I grew up in is fading fast

The fade outs are seamless - it has a feel that time is a constant and eternal...the only things that change are those who pass through that particular time and place...stunning work 😔🙏
